minimum stay before of the marriage
A lot of danish municipalities demand a minimum of 3 days stay before the marriage appointment in the municipality where the wedding will take place.
There are also municipalities that don´t require the above mentioned minimum stay. You can arrive and depart on the day of your marriage.
If no minimum stay is desired, you have to consider longer distances (with ferry) or longer waiting time for the marriage schedule.
